🌎 What is World Environment Day?
World Environment Day, which is celebrated annually on June 5th, was first established at the 1972 United Nations Conference on the Human Environment to foster global awareness about the importance of protecting the environment. It was recognized by the Korean government in 1996 and the celebrations for the Day’s 25th anniversary were hosted in Seoul the following year.

we oversee all our production processes under eco-friendly principles to make sure we do not contribute to the ever-growing garbage crisis. By using fabric made from recycled plastic bottles, implementing zero-waste textile production methods, and reducing packaging waste, PLEATSMAMA is at the forefront of promoting a beautiful, yet completely sustainable lifestyle through all its products.
It can take up to a hundred years for a simple plastic bottle to decompose naturally. To tackle this problem, PLEATSMAMA uses fabric made from recycled plastic bottles. Not only does this contribute to the global effort of reducing CO2 emissions and landfill waste, but it also promotes the move away from fossil fuels.
