In 2018, PLEATSMAMA collaborated with L7 (the sub hotel brand of Lotte Hotel)in providing the guests with 300 bags made out of 4800 recycled plastic bottles. While the hotel industry tends to show high usage of disposable products, L7 presented its vision of replacing the disposables with reusable items. PLEATSMAMA and L7, sharing the same value, soon began a collaboration.
In 2020, L7 became the first hotel chain in Korea to take eco-friendly action with the 'Eco-Traveler' project. Here, PLEATSMAMA’s role was to transform what the guests left behind. Plastic bottles were transformed into bags luggage tags, etc.
